A place to train.
All year. All in.
A compact, serious ski and snowboard freestyle progression facility in Santa Clara, North San Jose, or Milpitas.
The concept
A Woodward-style freestyle gym centered on dry-slope jib progression, ski and snowboard kickers into a landing airbag, a serious supertrampoline, coaching, and open sessions. The equipment takes priority over retail finishes in an older industrial warehouse.
Who it serves
Park and freeride skiers, snowboarders, Tahoe athletes training in summer, competitive youth, adults learning freestyle, and coaches and teams.
How it earns
Hourly sessions, open gym, memberships, private lessons, coaching, clinics, camps, and team training. Summer demand is a hypothesis to validate.
What makes it different
A focused freestyle progression lab, with a smaller footprint and lower fixed costs than a broad indoor ski center. Modest reception, gear storage, and viewing space; no elaborate café or party infrastructure.
Capital discipline
Prioritize warehouse geometry and controlled occupancy costs. Self-fund the initial experiment; consider investors after demand is demonstrated. The $200k figure is an initial risk budget, not a validated build estimate.
